flickr is my everything

so i’ve been talking about this outloud for about two weeks and if anyone else has heard this before pls forgive me but also tell me who else said it.

because i will beat them up. after i take my earrings off.

anyway, i think it kinda started with the flock kids, or at least after i started having them as my contacts on flickr.

chris messina would post screenshots and mockups.

and i dont know how it kept going after that, but then when sthing i wanted to show off would happen, i would take a screenshot and flickr it. then it was all an amalgam of (for example) tara hunt posting riya screenshots and people showing off mentions in msm (main stream media, oops) and that’s how it keeps going for me.

so now, when i check flickr, i see so-and-so is in paris for les blogs or so-and-so is at syndicate or so-and-so is working on tab browsing in flock or such-and-such is having lunch with joe montana…….i know it’s not perfect, but it’s really become an easy way for me to figure out what people are doing and if it’s important enough then i’ll go get more info on it, otherwise a skim of my contacts’ photos is just enough.
